I have to admit I have mixed feelings about this story.
The fist chapter, I was a bit angry that Michael had practically raped Lila. She had said "No we can't" and ,though, in the end, she gave in, there was little romance in what Michael did to her. It was basically lust on his part and a seduction of an innocent girl.
In this second chapter, I'm liking Katie alot lol, especially when she asked for grandfather's gun, intent on killing Michael. That was awesome, made me laugh. But I did feel bad for Lila. I can kind of understand Michael's predicament ... kind of ... and he did eventually realize how he treated (or perhaps more like mistreated) Lila. But I'm still so-so on his character. I hope he makes up for his behavior to Lila big time and that Lila doesn't end up to be a victim.
However mixed my feelings are for this story, I can't help but want for more so I do hope you will continue. I'm just hoping Michael becomes more lovable, I suppose, because at the moment, I'm on Katie's side lol. "Barnes, get grandfather's gun!"
