I liked most of what I read, but the weird grammar in a few places made my mind wander to how you could not correctly use "Am I" despite otherwise good writing. Any modern word processing software since 1995 would have caught the mistake for you.

"I my not a good guy?" should clearly be "AM I not a good guy?". Likewise, "I'm I married to a fucking corpse or what?" should have read "AM I married...".

Am I picky? Yes, but I found it distracting to the point that I'm writing this note rather than enjoying the remainder of the story.
