I alway look at a person's profile even though I may never comment on it. However, since you are located in Asia, and noting the style of your writing, I strongly sense that you are culturally a native of Asia; not someone with Western values transplanted there. I also intuit that you are a native Asian who has been exposed to a greater or lesser degree to Western educational values: arts, sciences, literature, etc. Truly then, you are excused for expressing your self as a Westerner while inherently thinking as an Asian for the marriage of East & West has never been an easy one. What is most important is that you wrote something which I like. Because you may express your self as a Westerner while your thoughts work in the Asiatic idiom, only means that your use of grammar and spelling as it is found expressed in the above story, will be the way it is, not the way someone thinks it should be. Do not be concerned with the callous remarks of others if they do not appreciate your work.
