Since you are a new author I decided to read ahead anyway and the story is written reasonably well. My standard complaint in this type of story is that the wife shows no real concern for the husband. That is nothing but abuse, thus the non consent category suggestion where something like rape is an expected topic. The fact that she is his wife seems almost coincidental.
