After the several chapters of buildup, it all pays off with the battle-driven rhythm. It almost hurt to reach the end of the episode without a resolution to the clash.

I am emotionally spent after that it was tense,frightning and sad to see so many weres die and touching to see our heroes go from rage to tender and back to rage! Can't wait till they catch up with Graves if I was him I would start to tremble now cause he really has pissed of two of the most powerful vamps around and I for one can't wait till they meet!

Seriously, I don't even read fight scenes but you have such graphic talent... I was thoroughly impressed. This is by far one of the biggest stories written on this site and I thank you for allowing this masterpiece to the public. You are amazing... This story is amazing... Oh my Jaz - that was incredible!!! Your talent surpasses words. That chapter was edge of your seat exciting. I really don't think they should have pissed off the boys like that, I can't wait to find out what Rafe will do when he finds out his Lacey was hurt. omg! that was amazing! Yes I also would like Caleb to embrace his vampire side fully so he and Demetri finish it. Also I can not wait to hear about Millie, Jen, Aaron and the rest get along. To be honest, I was worried about the battle ahead and how you would write it - NOT ANYMORE!!! Amazing, you kept the emotions in check, gave us our characters and as always... left us wanting more (in a fantastic way!)

Graves is a nasty bloke going after the babies and the weak and I am surprised I didn't wake anyone up when I yelled NO..... and I cried while Annie was trying to save her family..... I knew Graves was gonna change tactics and go after everyone. Dumb S.O.B. Ya know it really ticks me off to no end that people like Graves think they have all the power just cause they're scary. And he's not even fighting, isn't that so like an arrogant ass to send people out to do his bidding. Now he's gonna have to go and try to collect Lacey himself and its gonna be a no go cause Demetri and Caleb and Rafe and Andrei are gonna be on his ass like a vampire on B positive blood.

With regards to Alexei and Cedar, if that battle at the top of the stairs didn't make it clear, Vampire bites are instantly fatal to Were. People, please, don't hold your breath. Though if it DID happen, it could be a multi-book story in its own right, focusing on the theme of "safe sex"... that or go in for mask-play.

Alexei won't get to the evacuation site before the trio, so all I can say now is please everyone keep safe, keep together, keep prepared and don't let your guard down.

Great chapter. I still would like to see the Weres shine and not be the vamps underlings. With 100 humans around I am surprised the vampires find blood being on short supply.

this chapter is freakin' amazing. I read alot. I rent from the library with money being tight. I rarely buy books lately...and only if they are ultimate favs that I would read again. If you get published I would definitely buy this.

This chapter is the best I've read on this site and in general in a while. You spin this tale of emotions that you make the reader feel. The love they have for their mates and friends, the animal/vampire natures that come out of the weres/vamps. You peppered it with humor. I love when you describe Andrei as tossing heads like missiles. You make me picture this deranged vamp. There is the sadness seeing some characters that we like dying. I hope none of the major characters will. I love how you let the little Ashleigh get through to warn them about the vamps headed for Millie and the others. Jeez, didn't the vamps/weres think of that when they knew they were being watched?

This chapter is effing amazing. I am so impressed. You've developed these characters so fully and make the reader feel like they know them/care about them. The action is great. It is all very believable. It is fast-paced, action-packed, exciting stuff. I hope you try to get published. This would be a well-loved series! You are such a talented writer. Keep writing for us!!!

That was better than I expected. It is not often that someone is able to write about action and violence with the same competence as they do with romance. Just the right amount of casualties without anyone really important getting killed. You are proving to be one of my favorite writers. I do find myself hoping for something spectacular from the weres though. It would be nice if some of them turned out to be far stronger than they should be. It really is a good story.

Somehow you have managed to make this battle interesting. I usually just scan battle scenes, but this one I've read and enjoyed every word. Going to next chapter right now.

Wow. I know that Weres had to die....and really, I mean who you killed makes sense. I'm just super sad that Ben had to die. I have a soft spot for that name, maybe that's why. I always get so frustrated when authors introduce characters you really think you could like and then they kill them off! Frustrated, but I see the necessity. Don't worry, I still love it.

There are simply not enough stars to give you a proper rating. While I was reading this I had a minor interruption and almost pulled a Demetri myself. I might have to read it again before moving on and Lord help who or whatever interrupts me this time. And finally Nors,the Twins and Ashleigh. I read ALWH first and hoped I hadn't ruined it for myself when I figured out it wasn't the first in the saga. Now this is simply thrilling to me in a prequel sort of way. I was liking Demetri from AlWH and at the time my fave was Rayne. Still love her but after reading these in order, there is no topping Demetri. The best hands down. I know I will be rereading TA without question. Each chapter just gets better and better.
