Strange story

Hmm, let me see. The end of the story has a woman standing on the sand looking down at the man who drowned as a shark fin swims toward her and she thinks the shark is going to come up on the beach and bite her????????

Good story to this point, but the ending seemed abrupt. It just did not seem like a place that one would normally end a chapter. I did like what you wrote. Please continue.

I liked the ending... read it again, Anonymous... it's the first girl (Joni) who sees the shark as she's swimming away, not the second girl (Megan) who is standing on the shore. Very creepy... very good imagination Oneiria!

Love the death

I had a lot of fun reading the your visions of passing on to the other side. The transparency and ultimately turning to the 'dragonfly surfing the ultraviolet wind.' I also enjoyed the price Joni paid for her selfishness. Very nice work.

I can't say I like the fact that Tommy dies, but I do LIKE that Joni doesn't get to enjoy life much past when she stole his!
