What a surprise to me that no one else has shared their feelings about this deliciously dark story. It is exceptionally well crafted and draws the reader intimately toward all three characters and their deep, deep lusty appetites. I can only imagine one way to make this tale even more powerful and irresistible: Instead of Isabelle being cast as a young wife, how many of you would prefer her being a 16-year-old neighbor? In way over her head, she follows every lust-drunk thought that fills her mind, and develops an acquired taste for erotic torture.
