Hmmm...

I did like Armored Love, but... little things are taking me out of this one. A black woman mobster? I mean, I guess there are some, but... With a PINK gun? I don't think she's been established as enough of a "character" to carry a pink gun. "Nicolai" is not an Italian name, it's Russian. Not that the Russians don't have a mob, of course, but I believe the Marcatos were set up as Italian previously. I like the fact that the Contact is working for both of them, but... this does not seem like the way they should conduct business. Mercedes should be cool and collected and not shove her way in with a pink gun. Hmmm....

i disagree with pennlady a bit, mercedes to me is a ghetto girl, whose family is an established crime syndicate handed to her by her dad, not just mobsters can run a crime syndicate, and why can't an edgy lady hv a pink gun, she maybe all femine with a feline streak. lol, hot i say. and um, can u not take as long as u did with armoured love? lol

Great update! I must say I LOVED this story a bit more than Armored Love. I also respectfully disagree with Pennlady. I think it is wonderful to read a mob story where the woman is apart of the action and is immersed in the lifestyle as oppose to the typical story of she fell for the mob guy, his life is to dangerous, she want him to change, etc. It is good to see a shake up and read something different where the woman is hard, tough and feminine at the same time. And despite popular belief black people were involved in the mob to an extent and women did play a role in it as well, not just home makers, wives and mothers. Because there are big female criminals, lets hope off the soap box. As for the pink gun, I think it is quirky but screams the character because she is so small in statue, loves color in her home, and like to be known and flashy in a good way so the gun fits but let's just hope she doesn't commit a crime where witnesses can identify her by her gun...lol. And Mercedes isn't shoving her way in because it is ALREADY established that Nic is infringing on her territory. This is a good and well written story and I for one can't wait to see what happens next. You had minimum errors but it didn't take away from the story, keep up the good work and can't wait for the next update.

i agree with pennlady. I understand the need to maintain femininity in female characters even tough ones, but a pink gun??!!
I think i character like mercedes being a female mobster and all should be just as tough as any mobster and not submissive at all. Aside from that, i really enjoy your writing. kudos.
