All Comments on 'The Wedding Planner Ch. 05'

You need to wrap this up. The story is rambling now.

I read the entire thing on SOL -- 12 or 14 chapters, I can't recall exactly how many. The same thing keeps happening again and again -- one chapter is pretty much like the next -- she cheats, she gets away with it, she is always getting revenge against her husband (who apparently is also a cheater), and, oh yes, it ends badly. I give this story a 2/5 and only because the writing is fair and it took a lot of effort. But it really does ramble and neither character is sympathetic (and I admit it, I don't like the theme). There is a total lack of credibility with regard to the behavior of our "heroine."

is thta he is too lazy to write anything that'd take time. I think he dictated all his "stories" using a microsoft program; or he ought to, since typing actually is very time consuming... <p>

and all he does is just says the same thing over and over with a few RANDOM change in the names of individuals... since in practically all of his "stories" the characters are totally 1 dimensional, living in 1 dimensionsal worlds, where there's no reality of any serious consequences we are remotely aware of in the real world.... JPB just keeps posting total nonsense he calls "stories" over and over and over, 20 times a week, seemingly in different posting venues... <p>

usually young people, boys, like his stories, when they first chance upon them; but after a few months or a few years of reading, even they realize, it's the same crap over and over and over... <p>

as I said once before, Just Plain Bob is actually a very capable writer/story teller. he is just so addicted to these nonsensical short repetitions, he can't get out of the cycle, even if he wanted to... it's a psychological, mental thing with him and some of his readers... <p>

whereas most readers gauge how high, or how much, their stories garners positive feedback (and they would go so far as to even deleted critical remarks), Just Plain Bob seems to relish just the oppostie impacts: the more negative and nonsensical the feedback, the more he writes frenzily! and he would even give titles or prologues like: this story is total nonsense, with no redeeming value whatsoever, so if you're looking for a good story, or one with redeeming values, this is not for you... and other nonsense like that! lol <p>

fact is, however, that 99.9998% of JPB's "stories" are the same, total crap that even he himself knows it.. after you've read about 10 or 20 of his "stories" you know that beyond doubt... from there on, even if you read just the first a couple lines and then skip to the final a couple lines, you won't miss a thing. i'ts all the same...

If you let yourself get into the story, and look at her side of what she is doing, but I think she is becoming a whore for nothing.

She could have gotten revenge in some other way other than becoming a slut.

Well Harry if shit stains are your thing maybe you should just check your underware and leave the rest of us alone. Some of us (those that don't check shit stains) just like to enjoy stories. Complaining about stories is worse than complaing about tv. You must do something to complain about a story, ie. read it. tv you just sit there and watch. If you don't like a story it is so easy to stop your dissapointment. Just stop reading. But you can't do that can you? You must have the last word as filthy as it is. Anyway Harry, pull those shorts off again and enjoy the shit stains.

Same shit - different story. JPB, I like many of your stories in the past but this one is getting very dull and repetitive. No personal attack here, honest. But you need to have someone that the reader can root for and it ain't here. I don't like the husband OR the wife. Both are oxygen thieves. Also, the tempo of the story is so repetitive as an earlier commenter noted. Where is the conflict? Where is the climax? When will something interesting happen?

You can usually do better than this even in those wretched cuckold stories you like to write.

Just went to SOL read the ending to this story. The bad girl wins and the bad boy loses. That about sums it up.

It would be funny if the story goes with a line that he was suspecting her cheating when she always puts off time with him and didn't really go through with the apparent affair and had hired a PI to watch her. He can confess that he almost cheated and, to her shock, she realizes that she really has blown it. He mentioned that he knew about the room upgrades, but thought if she didn't want to go with him, why bother. Then he shows her the photos from the PI. That's revenge.
