Story moving along
Jerry in Washington State, USA - I felt sad for Art that Suzanne deserted him but it does make for interesting scenes where Art needs to just be himself in dealing with the scientists. It is an interesting situation with the women - one very unfriendly and the other more friendly. Art's forceful decision to not allow Fred to be experimented on first is a surprise. I had forgotten that Art made that promise early in the story. I like Art for the qualities he shows as the main character and I'm hoping that the ending will be happy enough for him. I continue to look forward to the next chapter and the hopefully happy ending.
Great twist
Wish Suzanne could stay, but it is for the best now. She will miss him and find out her feeling for him being apart.
New twist with 2 women. One hostile the other sweet, just like when he got to Susanne's after the accident. Maybe he will help them also by being his honest self.
Love his defense of Fred.
