The descriptions I wrote in pre-writing were discarded because I thought they sounded almost arrogant in first person. This is my first one. I have concepts for Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day contests. My homework will be reading your stories for inspiration as I move into better third person writing. :)
I loved the casual start leading to the build-up. Chris would be my hero too, if my little dog took off like that, and he rescued her (twice). That's quite the thank you that Gina gave him. I love how considerate and gentle he was with her and with her dog :) Nothing like lovin' in the rain (or being shielded from it)! Can't wait to read more.
