Brought back great memories of Balmorhea Springs (short overnight stop on first honeymoon in mid-July, 1952), brousing the Alpine-Marfa-Fort Sockton country with second wife around 1998 (after seeing Fort Griffin and show), and the making of "Giant" (good Chill Wills and other characters). But, please, finish this and get Siena and Junior together!

An awesome story, totally believable to this fellow Texan. Balmorhea and Marfa are two of my favorite vacation destinations--even if they are a twelve-hour drive across the state from where I live.
