As much as I appreciate a different take on vampire myths, the "prey is prey" remark to justify killing sentients for food disgusted me. I can't empathize with what amounts to a sociopath and could only tolerate reading about one if some kind of justice is forthcoming. I get the feeling the main character isn't about to be punished for the things she's done...

Won't read further. We've already got Hannibal Lecter. Done with this one.
