If Anonymous below was to read Stephena's biography, he/she would see that the author is ENGLISH. We non-US citizens (I'm English-born Australian) don't expect US (or any other) authors not to use terms that are US-centric, so why shouldn't this author use terms that are natural to him?
Anyway, Stephena, looking forward to part 2 asap.
Maybe we Aussies/British should have a translation key we should put before a story
Or you could just google words you don't understand.
It's what I do, what especially with some conversions, kmh/mph etc.
