Funny!I was just about to send you a nasty comment about authors who dont update their stories when I saw this! Outstanding as usual!!!!! please make this series a saga with a minimum of 80 chapters......lol!!!!!! O.k, on a serious note just continue until I tell you to stop. Hahaha. There are many more adventures they can have.May I suggest more rogue wolves,different types of witches or even vampires!
I am happy to see Liz's character develop.....really hated her at first! and stop with the cliffhangers already or I will send real werewolves after you....................!

I know that peace can't be that far off because you have announced that this wonderful story is coming to an end. As to how peace will come, I know wait for the next chapter. This chapter was great. Having Liz try to be completely submissive to Joel was almost funny. And Joel telling her the pack wouldn't buy this sudden submission, was honestly at it's best. Watching them finally come together not only for the pack but for themselves will be conflicting. Good for the story sad for the reader knowing what it means. I don't know if I want you to hurry the next chapter or not. Great catch 22

The chapter was absolutely awesome,fantastic,beautiful and I loved it but then you go and leave it on yet another cliff hanger and my mood when down hill! I was enjoying this chapter so much and looking forward to reading it again and then you hit me with another hated cliffhanger now I will be stressed out again waiting for the next chapter. Sigh. Oh well, such is life now! I will now go back and read this brilliant chapter again! Thanks so much for posting before the year finishes! I had missed ch. 17 while I was away. So I read both just now. It was so good. You really amped up the excitement and the pace seemed to move faster but not too fast to enjoy the developing relationships...you seemlessly joined couples and dealt with lots of emotion. I really enjoyed these two chapters. I had guessed the witches were behind it a while back so wasn't as surprised about that but I loved the use of Dia and how she worked with Elizabeth to fight against the witches and to protect her pack. I also love Dia and Will! They are really the type of couple that would be strong for the differences in their personalities. I am glad you will take it further and help restore the pack's faith in their alphas as well as help Elizabeth and Joel work together since they really never have. Can't wait for more.

I do have another pet peeve though. When you wrote she shook her head "yes".

I don't know about you and other authors on lit but I usually nod/nodded my head to say "yes" and shake/shook my head to say "no."

Where you did end it, another cliffhanger, is really beginning to get me down.
5/5 overall, PLEASE watch out for mechanism over-usage.

Have to agree with 'ShadowedDreams'. By ending it in the shallow water, you gave us a positive ending to counteract the negative ending in the previous chapter. Too many negative or sudden cliffhangers in one story give me a headache!

Other than that, very nice chapter. You worked through their dramas beautifully, taking the time to make sure everything was covered perfectly.

I speculate..

That Joel and Elisabeth will agree that she protect the pack and get them back to the den safely and he will take the warriors to get their women back and finally get rid of the large rogue pack they have been hunting for weeks. I was wondering what happened to the rogues that had eluded them so far.

I was drawn to this story because someone who had written a story apparently the comment was that someone had read your story and had written similar in style.

...thanks for the insight as to how Joel and his mate resolved their issues and Joel's "humanity" in recognizing his faults. I personally think you went a little overboard in the submissive/regretful description of his persona, but then, he IS your character.

As for the sex, it was HOT and EVERYTHING I wanted to read. Knew you had it in you, but you was kinda slack in describing the sex of the pack and the possible open amazement, desire, or speculative appreciation of the human women in watching some of it. I wish to have know about pack sex, especially singles who were not mated trying out twosome or three some sex...even a description of males stroking males...oh well , one can only imagine and you can always include those thoughts in future stories huh?

The mental image I have regarding the previous comment is so damn funny. Wow. Talk about a mouthful. But an intriguing thought, nonetheless. I always thought the knot only formed when the male was behind the female, but I could be wrong. This story rules.

I've never laughed so hard... That was an interesting comment to say the least! Anyway... In all the stories I have read except for a few I think the not only happens in hybrid form. Since he wasnt and wasnt even close to coming I dont think she had anything to worry about. But that was a damn good comment! I needed that. Great story. I hope there will be more of it. Loving all the action! The two alpha "bitches" uniting against the witches, and showing how it's done! Dia is amazing, LOVE her. And love how Will is with her, so sweet. And excuse me, but I don't think enough was made out of the fact that Liz ran like the wind, carrying Dia, while heavily injured!!!! And generally kicked ass left right and centre!! The pack should appreciate that their alpha female is so brave and amazing! :)

I also loved the way Joel had a road block set up, and how he ripped the door off.. :)

(My 'drama-loving' side was a little peeved that she didn't appear to be in mortal danger with the wounds... or so it seemed afterwards...? I would have wanted to see him all worried about losing her due to the injuries, or lamenting about it afterwards... although he did bite his fist in the car, so perhaps he *was* worried as hell.. loved it, still.)
