Mike, don't take this the wrong way. It looks like you have been reading too many greeting cards. To write them is a lets say a specialized craft. So I see elements in yours that approach both poetry and cards.
You are going for visuals, sounds. etc. but you are using cliches.

Roses red blush
both are very tired

this is something your girlfriend should see, you won't want me to see it on a bad day
Yet none can match her soul
