Love it!
My favorite of yours in this challenge thus far. Not a single wasted word and the narrative flows beautifully and is complete. I am a very good wrapper, but as a leftie myself the struggle with scissors (love "gawky grip") especially is familiar to me. It's a mundane subject but you made it come alive and painted a loving picture.

That was a hoot.
Sounds like this Xmas to me. I'm left handed and scissors hate me. My bastard stepson, also a leftie, has learnt to use em right handed, something I can't manage. I hate him for it! :) At to that sweltering heat and you've described every Xmas since my son was born (the heat doesn't help one's patience). Getting a recommend.
