Very droll for a stroke story

The lack of emotional identification with any of characters made this not one of the author's best. Exploring" deeper" into Annie's misdeeds as 18 year old in high school and her mysterious resignation from magazine could have stepped this story up. How about exploring the potential son angle?Regardless of that, the author's lesser efforts still own more impact then the usual tripe that comprises the bulk of this genre.
