Truth or Sarcasm at it's best! A very funny, but eye opening story!
I love the way this writer strings words together! This is a very funny, but sarcastic approach to St. Valentine Day and I think it speaks for holiday efforts of merchants and big business in general. I kind of feel the same way-almost like you are being compared as you were in grade school to the other kids when some brought those yucky clear cellophane wrapped lollypops and others brought foil heart wrapped Hershey Bars and Reeses PB Cups. Flowers are always a rip off-my years in the undertaking business is attest to that. Look good for a day or two, then take them out and dispose of them. There was always a 'contest' to see whose family could gather or send the most expensive basket of posies :) Wonderful story, wonderful idea and right time of the year for it! Continue Onward!
