Have not read part 2 yet - don't ruin it please.

Any reconciliation will need a boatload of atonement, should be near impossible. Not sure why you have a part 2.

Since you asked, I have to admit you did a pretty fair job. Main characters identified well for a very short story. Plot idea made and went to the ending without wasting a lot of space. A rather interesting tale of a lady who wants her cake and it it also. Ooops, it looks like she dropped it on the floor. A 4 in my nook.
