Didn't want to feel this way

I didn't want to agree with all those other commenters who said your cultural references were too much, too distracting, too unoriginal. But this is the first story in the series that they completely turned me off to the story. And it even happened during a sexy part! using those references may be your trademark, and some people, including yourself, may enjoy it. You should keep in mind that it's the type of writer's characteristic that can alienate your audience.

For me, the series stops with Chapter 8.
