Oh dear

With several gallons of oversweet syrup, but somewhat lacking in flavour, this has to be one of the most innapropriate offerings I've ever seen here.
It looks very much as though originally intended for submission to a tacky magazine specialising in "romantic" drivel for the uneducated, followed by some hasty editing to add the supposedly "erotic" touches as an afterthought.
Sorry, but it really didn't work!

I liked it. It has a few plot issues that could be resolved though.

The first issue and the biggest for me is the idea that they would jump into a sexual relationship with every indication they intend to live together (marry?) even though they have not seen one another for 40 years.

How realistic is that? I could see their love re-ignited if they dated for a few months and found out they still had a lot in common, but the way it was written seemed too fast for any reality.

But, I did like it.

Great story that had a special significance to me. Two years ago I lost my wife to Cancer, and just recently reconnected with a former girlfriend. As a Vietnam veteran I remember how society viewed unwed mothers in the 60's, so I understand your characters "sacrifice" to make an honest woman of Betsy. I hope you win.

A Great Valentine Story

Syrupy, that what Valentines is all about, love between 2 people. Good Plot, nicely erotic without the ridiculous gymnastics that mar many stories. A really good story. Take it from a guy that has sent 54 signed Valentines and I think she still has every one of them

This was a sweet story, with just the right amount of sex. My only gripe is that the transition from sharing valentines to tearing up the sheets is a bit abrupt.

Very nice tale of love and honor .. And a lesson to the young people, always ask for that dance, they can only say yes or no, that won't kill you or leave you wondering 30 years later about what could have been.
