Your strength is in dialog and this chapter did not disappoint. The lines about Lee at Appomattox and the three examples that followed had me laughing once again. The group interplay at Jeff's family gatherings are simply a delight to read.

I look forward to when we get to vicariously watch the families interact. Somehow I think the intellectual capacity on Jeff's side will win out over the ruthless businessman/Father. Who knows Ashley's Mother might even get some backbone?
