What a short and sweet story. Had me tearing up by the end.

I'd like to thank everyone who takes the time to read this entry.

It's a true story, based on my great-grandmother. She was an incredible lady, with more inner strength than anyone I've ever known. It was a blessing to have her as the rock of our family.

She's passed the torch to younger generations, but she left a very large pair of shoes to fill. :)

A beautiful and poignant story.
