YES !! getting better with every word

Love the second chapter. This man is the most talented story spinner I have recently read. These type storys are almost imposible to find in todays writers.

Great storyline and as expected a great read.....

You do such a great job with your character development that they seem like members of your family. Looking forward to the coming chapters.

Reallly Fine Work

The portrayal of a "Mountain Man" is a challenge. This one does not seem to be basically different in philosophy from "Winterborn".

I'll be Damned!

I was born and raised in mountains of Colorado. My entire life, I've always felt more at home in the mountains and forest/woods than I ever did in a city or town. I have often imagined myself living in the time period reflected by this story.
I tell myself (I live alone, so I tend to talk to myself, too bad it's a 1-way conversation, but at least my voice works) that I was born just over 100 years too late. I've had others tell me that as well. Who knows if it's true.
In reference for the title of this comment, this is a very well told story. It's a saga, that deserves recognition. It's pretty damned close to the creativity and inspiration of some of the other better known published authors (Zane Grey, Louis L'Amour, Tabor Evans (for those who like adult westerns)). The primary reason for the title is that a great deal of research and exploration has gone into these writings. With that said, I certainly hope to read more.
