Gramatical conventions

The story was great. I hate the stupid conventionsYou use to indicate what ever you want to indicate with those You/you's, Me/me's, I/i's. etc. That's why you got a 50. They destroy the continuity and effect of the story you are trying to tell. Conventional wording will render your story much more powerful [at least to me]. kfish

D/s

The large first letter and lowercase second letter signifies the dominance of the relationship. It is a standard form of letting people know relationship is now not just kinky, but it has structure to it. I do believe it started with Gore, (Not sure of the spelling) who writes novels with a heavy D/s influence. I loved the story. Its progression is very coherent. The movement of it drew me deep into the story. I felt though the story how much Bill loved Laurie.

No

Sorry, public humiliation don't turn me on. Dominance and submission as a play within boundaries of respect and care between consensual adults is another thing altogether. This is not love, sad story. Yoron.
