This improves with reading two or three times. I especially like the penultimate stanza, and the way your mind seems to flow from one apparently disconnected object to another

Love this one Sean. It got a five and a recommend. There is something in the wording that bothers me, but I am not sure what...maybe the others will get it.

Some good stuff in this one. Enough for a five.

I read it twice and then once more for good measure...
this stanza and the one before it.. spoke to me the loudest

I'm in from my world,
(my shirt a little sweaty)
but I'm not embarassed:
it's the state of the arts,
and I'm no stranger here
just careful of the canvases
priced in thousands

here, the narrator is the observer, only interacting at the end... but it's through the narrators eyes you allow us to be the observer, moving with them through the environment, sensing the

racing d.o.a. thoughts,
nervous intersections,
smooth affluent pavement

the small discomforts of the girls in tight dresses, the arty disassociation of the children as a metaphor...

very much the outsider looking in on the window of life, sean.

I lied, S3 is fab; S6? (on the stairs...) is flab, see no reason for it and speaking of reasons, even mysterious ones
