original telling of an old tale. I like. My only quibble is I felt your ambrosial thing should have been hyphenate. It took me a second to get it.

took me ages to actually find the ambrosial!! Not sure she was having an easy life either what with all those kids and a useless husband, which just goes to show nothing changes they still sit around on the settee 're-adjusting' their gonads. You'll Ange chasing your tail for those ellipses but I find they are very useful too

Time....

...I left a few mots. I like this for the imagery and the gentle humour and the red dust, fertile as a flood plain.

I liked this, light verse with some layers to it, a nice contrast to the "I shall smote thee" stuff elsewhere in the Bible with some good natured ribbing about the ludricous idea of having 56 children without its losing any value as a metaphor suggesting other things, such as love, patience, and acceptance. (She certainly was more accepting of Adam's shortcomings than UYS was. LOL)

This was playful to me.

Liked the "really no such thing as greener pastures" in the first stanza too. Ain't that the truth?

WTF (5)

I love this!
And fuck the dipshits that think I need a reason. Paying attention?
Here's why:
and Adam there
in the background,
scratching his balls,
counting goats,

which is a damn sight better and funnier, than rhythmic pretension.

I love the way the title flows into the first stanza

I'm a sucker for a good storyline and this delivers. things to learn here, following 12's sonical investigation lines. The g's beginning and ending the second line, t's the next.
the first stanza, (imo) was the apple. :) the slow down at the ends of the stanza very effective. I could go on for pages I think, but as slow as I type, could be here all day.
:rose: I doubled the assessors score
