That's one way of getting back to your Roots!

(What I was hoping, that would've happened, would be for the Tree to have absorbed Alicia, into itself, as an act of revenge for all of the other trees, that've been destroyed, by Man and absorb all of her "nutrients", into the Tree leaving behind only her belongings!)

I second MarlowBunny's sentiment. Not a typical read for me, but it was well written. I like how the The Tree appreciated and acknowledged what Alicia was trying to do and helped to prepare her by sending waves of calm throughout her body. I think the experience renewed her conviction in doing her part to save the tree and the land. Fascinating read. Goodluck!

That was an interesting read. I love the ending, it was such an easy read and fluent, I liked it. I enjoy reading the non-human and horror section, it is easy to write about sex but the most creative writing comes from the stories that prove truely otherworldly.
