First off, thank you Mugsy for taking the time to write another story. I know y'all have to be sad to see that "Drew" got traded. I, however, welcomed him with open arms to my beloved Devils. Lord knows we need some younger offensive players. I have always felt for him in these stories.
The beginning was so well written, that I was 30 mins late for work this AM as I lost track of time reading. I did want to share, that being a lover of goalies myself, you and PennLady should feel free to write about another one. I can tell you that the intensity that they play with transfers right into their personal lives ;-). On that note, thanks again Mugsy, and since my team is out....GO PENS!!!
Loved the first chapter. Keep them coming. Have been jonesin' for some more hockey stories. But then again I am a Wings fans :-) Keep up the great work.

Mugsy's back with another great hockey story! Fantastic beginning. Can't wait for the next chapter. Love Drew and Mina!
What more could I ask for. You make me as happy as my team making the play-offs and winning. I ADORE all your offerings and will wait patiently for more beacuse the best is worth waiting for.
Was so pleased to see a new story from mugsyb i spent all day yesterday similn in anticipation. Now ive read it i'll be smilin all day again i think - lovely start and im really pleased to see drew getting his chance, as well as catching up with some previous couples. Feel free to do more of that by the way, its always nice to see if they get a happy ever after or if they have some obstacles to deal with!!

I was thinking the other day it had been a fair while since I had read a new story from you.
It is so good to have you back. I hope all is well at your end and you have another great story for us (and I don't doubt that it will be anything different).
I must say, I have been missing your stories this hockey season, but what perfect timing for you to debut! I too agree it was excellent to see my team (Go Preds!) win and then to sign on and find another Mugsy story... oh my! Great start as always darlin! Can't wait for more!
Mina is so cute and I've always liked Drew. It's nice to see the sensitive and damaged parts of him as well as the Drew we've seen in the other stories. It makes him more real.
So glad to have another hockey story and I can't wait for the next chapter!

What happened to your "Uncovering the Ice" series? That particular story was my favorite one! Can you please put it back up ? :/
Yes, this is a variation on a theme. But, the variations are oh so interesting, and the theme rocks! A wonderful addition to the set. I love how PennLady wrote "Good start", considering this could be considered ch. 11 of 'Numbers Game' ;D. It's great how you two play well with each other. Had you input in setting up Drew's brother originally, or did you run with the existing backstory?

I'm mixed on the Sabres. I grew up listening to the French connection on GR55, I like Miller, and I loved Hasek. Ah, well...
I'm pleased that you've started writing again - despite the fact that the protagonist of this story was a member of my Pens' rival, the Caps, and contributed to the shortened season of my favorite player, "Sean Carson". Then again i thought to myself, it's only fiction and I love hockey stories. Mina seems like an interesting character. I love the variation you give your heroines. Can't wait to see more of Mina and Drew!

Ice is a great series, and enjoying read. Was never much of a hockey fan but am easily drawn into your descriptions. However, this one hit an off note that threw me out of the story when Mina made the comment about being "a simple line chef." There is no such position, if you're working the line, you're a cook. For the majority of the world, it doesn't make much difference, but to a culinary arts grad like Mina, it would be a big issue.
