Is this author trying to embarrass British 18 year olds? If so, he's succeeding. British boys stop calling their cock 'willy' with the onset of puberty. No woman would be able to bear the weight of a man on her lap. The tone of the conversation between the two is that of a grandmother to a pre-teen grandson. I don't know in which decade this story is set, but 'bob-a-job' week disappeared before Britain went decimal and became 'job week' (a 'bob' was the nickname for the shilling - the mdern 5p).
While the storyline is original, the presentation is dismal and insulting to young British men. I use the term 'men' because, at 18 they can vote and drink alcohol.
This author owes British young men a huge apology.

You are onto an interesting concept. I like bigger women, and yes, I believe the age 18 should have been 10, but was changed to 18 for pc reasons. Keep working it and the concept. Maybe, you could make the 18 year old be mildly retarded with the mentality of a younger boy.
If I thought I owed rafman188 or any other 18-year-old an apology I'd send them one. As it is, I'd just say, "Get a sense of humour and a life. You've got all yours in front of you, most of mine's behind me."
