Just wish to step in saying that last bit of girlfriend advice was truly sage and honest.
Refreshingly so. If you don't love the man or woman do them a favor and tell them.
Do NOT marry someone for wrong reasons. It takes great balls to be that straight but in the long run you save yourself three things. Aggravation which is an everyday thing we all get in spades. A whole lot of money of which there is never enough!!! And third,
TIME which is a non-renewable commodity for everyone that's born. Let's not waste it on a marriage you knew you don't want.
