Could have been slightly better
I love this story, but the end of this chapter seemed a bit rushed, you could have transitioned between scenes a little better and provided more intimate details.

I like your style of writing but feel the story would greatly improve by doubling the length ... even longer. Nice job.
Great story diminished only by its length
I'll join the growing chorus of the other three posts and "demand" a sequel or, even better, a whole series of additionial chapters. Your story telling here was simply too delicious to stop here. Please continue this saga. I'm thinking Aunt Aimee deserves some more prequel chapters as well.
