Could have been excellent if it had an ending.

The story was on-course to being "5-stars"-- right up until the end. I _really_ didn't like the way it ended without any kind of resolution. What's the point of building up all of that interest and suspense, and then leaving it there without a conclusion? If there was a sequel to this story, it would be a favorite, but there apparently was never any intention of that. Myself, I think that sucks. It's the literary equivalent of blue-balls. Not my kinda thing.

It's easy to relate to the frustrations and longing that make up the story line because author describes these emotions so well. Little long, but totally worth it in the end. Pretty much perfect

Easily the best story I've read on here. It's not exactly what I normally go for, but I couldn't stop reading. Nobody but the author knows how things ended up, but I guarantee that every one of us that read it continued it in our own minds. It makes you feel invested in the characters. That's not often the case with these stories. I find myself both wanting it to continue and thinking that it shouldn't because it's basically perfect already. I will definitely be checking out other stories from this author.

Guy should run

Refreshing to see one of these where the guy is not willing to fuck someone just for the sake of it, he turned down Gina, but to see Megan that way is disappointing.
She fucked the married doctor just to find out if the rumours about his size were true, then she kept doing it!
Jake should keep in mind that a woman that is willing to fuck a married man is also willing to fuck outside her own marriage. One day after 10 years of marriage and 2 or 3 kids he will find out she is cheating on him. She will be the type that says it was "just to find out what it was like" and claim that it was only sex and no emotions were involved so that it means nothing.
What Jake should be thinking is "fuck Meg" (not literally!) and call Sally and ask if she wants something serious.

In my own opinion, the guy is a pussy. Always seeking for approval from the girl no wonder his sex life sucks.

That hurt

Not because it was bad, but rather because that's the kind of relationship I would run from. When you're in love with someone and they aren't (or at least aren't willing to go where you want to go), that's when you leave the situation. It's never going to get better, and instead you have to hear or see them fuck other people.

Casual sex is one thing, but that has the potential to really hurt.

Hell, a great story in any case, when bloody erotica actually hurts to read, you know you've done your job.

She was right about her personality

If it were me, the moment she stated that she'd fucked a guy, especially a surgeon (those dicks have monster egos to go along with the package)...knowing that he was married, and it didn't even phase her, I'd have stopped things there, and confirmed that she was, indeed, a lousy person and turned my back on her. I get it that it takes two to tango, but she initiated the event, but...after all, it was just a story.

One of My Favorite Stories, But Flawed.

I really enjoyed this story,and would have liked it even more if you'd had Jake and Meg consummate their relationship sexually. (Wherever their relationship went after that would be material for new chapters,or even just left to the readers' imaginations.
Jake consistently seemed like the "perfect guy" throughout the story.Megan was another story,however. From at least her days in nursing school she had wild,uninhibited sex with other women,and despite her making excuses,Gina was actually,in her own words,her lover. (It was also inconsiderate of Jake to allow Gina to start having sex with her in front of him. (She knew how he felt about her,and that was rubbing it in!) ~ She also seemed to bragging when she gave a detailed description of her sexcapades with Dr. Big Dick Black,and the whole thing letting Jake know that she'd been having regular sex on the outside all the while they'd been roommates ,and describing it in great detail was very hurtful.
To me at least,Megan seemed to be the kind of woman who Jake should have been more demanding of for a sexual relationship being that fucking seemed to be a full-time hobby for her. Ending up with her as a wife? Sorry Jake,but she'll sooner or later break your heart! She has admitted that she likes fucking married men and has gone through quite a few at the hospital already. She also gets an itch for sex with women and acts on it freely. (The whole "Its just sex" excuse doesn't bode well for an exclusive marriage,sexually!)
