Nice writing

I expected the worst when I read the title and find myself positively surprised.

I never much liked the Enclave and they characters in the story don't seem to exhibit the Anti-Mutant-Ideology so characteristic of them. I'm also not sure the Enclave would ever have been inclined to recruit from what they generally considered a polluted gene pool.
All in all the characters are likeable, something I always found a hard time with in the games.

Anyway, please continue writing this story-arc and possibly more in the Fallout universe.
