Breaking Through The Ice Ch. 09

I was waiting for that fight to happen for a couple chapters now and the timing was perfect and so was the drama. Can't wait to see how they handle it in the midst of the playoffs. Loving this story!

As always, this story was wonderful and I loved it! And as always, the suspense is killing me, hahaha. But I have faith that it will all work out in the end because Mina and Drew were made for each other!

now *this* is the fight i was expecting last week.

i love your writing. each new chapter of each new story draws me in more and more. drew and mina feel so much more real with each new installment. i appreciate that both of these characters have flaws and are so genuine.

Unexpected

I expected a blowup about Lawrence and his (unmentioned) visit, but this is believable, too. Keep up the good work!

I started to read some romance stories on this site and the ones i ended up reading just started out with sex and then I came across your stories and i fell in love with them. I can connect with your characters and just cant get enough of them. Ive read all of your stories and cant wait to see what else you come up with.

All I can say is another cliff hanger. There are so many avenues you can take us down and I see so many more "fights" between the characters that will make waiting another week very hard to do. Looking so forward to the next chapter.

Marvelous

I love that Mina is becoming a stronger woman. Lawrence's condescension during their conversation was stunning. I was waiting for her to walk away when he talked about having invited her into his "house." Really? You want this woman to live in your "house?" What about your "home?"

When he and then Drew slighted Mina's choice of career, I wasn't surprised that she asked Drew to leave. And nice to see you re-visit the conversation she'd had with Carter. She knew that would come back to haunt her.

Now to wait and see who ends up being the one to knock Drew upside the head so that he sees the error of his ways!

Stupid Drew!!! He's going to have to grovel some to make that up to Mina! I can't wait for the next chapter to see how he's going to make this right, and how he reacts when he finds out about Lawrence visiting Mina.

I love your story, the characters and situations are so believable and genuine. Thank you for sharing your work with us :)

Can't wait

I don't think I can wait another week for the next chapter. Drew seriously needs to beat the crap out of lawerence, and Mina needs to do the same to her sister. I like that Mina is developing a backbone, keep up the good work.

Oh Drew had to go open his mouth and stick his foot in it! And if he finds out her ex is in town and didn't tell him (which he will) it will probably add all sorts of drama. And I can't wait!!!

...backbone, go Mina! She has shown a wonderful growth...and it is in a big way due to Drew and his love...his mouth just wrote a check his butt can't cash. Poor man, but, I have faith he will be able to make the right kind of apology.

Your writing has definitely improved over the years. I didn't recognize the progression and the improvement till I re-read some older stories. Still wonderful, but, you can see the improvement. Kudos to you Mugsy!

Oh, Boy ...

I love your writing ... but I just don't know how Drew is going to patch up this mess ... what a doozy of a situation they are in now ... and what a mess just before playoffs ... this won't help his teammates, will it? :-) Can't help but wonder if Carter told his parents about wanting to be a Chef when he visited them ... if so, and they are delighted he has found some direction, won't Drew be eating crow!

Drew can be so pig headed when it comes to his brother, that he's not seeing straight!
he's trying so hard to be the responsible big brother and trying to prevent anything bad from happening that he forgets that you learn from your mistake. which is what carter is doing.
i can't blame carter for talking to Mina, he is interested in her line of work, who better to ask then? that drew can't understand that.
as for Mia, she should have told about Lawrence by now, i'm sure that is going to add to their first big whopper of a fight.
there is going to be some major kiss & make up action for this to work out fine now.
