Entertaining

The story was entertaining as far as it went. I don't understand Dawn and Carl's hold on all the women or their motive. Cruel captors would hardly care whether the prisoners were on the pill. The rescue was a bit too convenient and easy.

This basic plot could have been so much richer. Rory and Angela's discoveries and attraction could have been so much more poignant. Shame, a sense of violation, lust, righteous indignation, martyrdom, some sort of strong emotion would surely be expected in the situation.
