The subject matter is rather controversial--
so I'm just going to address the 'art' part of the creation. I'd say this piece is a lot of 'talky-talky' on your soapbox (which is fine, I'm not saying you can't have a soapbox) and extremely repetitive (there wasn't an clean economy of ideas presented). There was little imagery that wasn't cliche or dull. I stopped caring about your ranting around third stanza in. I think if you want to do this topic, that's great, but don't just rant and call it poetry. You're so much better than that.
Little understanding
Yet another example of an affluent, white, middle class person failing to appreciate the reality of deep social injustice and inequality. As long as society fails to understand and choses to ingnore the plight of the millions of disadvantaged, the state will continue to rule by oppression or any other means.
this part i liked - lots:
you spoiled urban children,
you shake the earth
and riot as if you were
the wretched helots of Sparta,
the rest, not so much. but there you struck a vein.
