Well that's how it reads. Decide if you are writing in first or third person - don't mix them up.

That aside, the story was okay.

I didn't mean to mix 1st and 3rd person here. I started writing it one way then picked up the next day and wrote it in 3rd person. I kept meaning to go back and change it but I forgot. :/
