this woman will be miserable when Tibor moves on to someone better. no matter how much everyone avoids bringing it up, women are cursed by biology, while men are blessed. men age like wine and women age like cars. this line that was in the story, "Being in your early 30s with a job is the best thing in the world." is 100% true. women who are still single in their mid-30's suddenly become desperate, since they fully know the abyss that waits for them when they hit 40, because every woman knows at least one other woman who is in their 40's, alone and miserable, and either divorced or never married. when they were young, they had the delusion that they had plenty of time, until reality finally set in. those years of "self-discovery" were years of youth wasted.

i know the story alluded to Diane ending up with Tibor, and Tibor to be a successful writer, but i find this highly improbable. men are by nature superficial creatures. and what exactly does she have to offer? and if Tibor is such a great catch, why does he have to settle for a woman who cheated on her husband with a group of men right in front of him, all because he watches football games once a week at the house? and why exactly are we supposed to sympathize with her? the male equivalent of this is a guy who's fed up with his wife's book reading club at their house, and then has a reverse gangbang with all the women. would this also be acceptable?

Well, if you put your "bros before hoes" then you better be prepared.

I may have been distracted by the character titles, and the way the dialogue was presented.

That's the only thing I can think of that my have been the distraction.

As far as the storyline goes, it was good, and I think I would have enjoyed the story more if it would have been presented in a more conventional manner.
