Awesome beginning
I love this story, I hope that his parents change their ways since they almost lost their only surviving son. But I doubt it!! I can't wait to read more.

Pulled In
This story kept me on the edge of my seat. Love the pace of the action and look forward to reading the next chapter. I'm really glad that Caid is being sent back and it sounds like he'll be in a different body to boot! I hope this new body still has biceps haha! Too bad for poor mama.
This pulled me in from the very start. This is unique, and the way you write made it seem as if I were feeling all of the emotions that the main characters were experiencing. I like these type of stories-ones that have a near-death experience theme. It's always interesting to see how the character will behave and interact with others afterwards. And since Caid was going through quite a bit of turmoil in his personal life, it should be cool to see what's ahead for him. Can't wait to see what's to come in the next chapter. Awesome work!
If the spirits ain't a talkin' to the Marm!!!!!! I'm a firm believer in OBE's and life before, during and after life...lol. This is intriguing to me. His original body is destroyed and he does the "step- in" thing. Looking forward to where this leads...frankly....can't wait, but do take your time.
If we don't hear before the Holidays; have the merriest!!!!

Just so sad!
The opening scene of this story reminds me of the 1973 movie 'Day of the Dolphin' with George C. Scott. To keep the dolphins safe from harm (they had been trained in such a way that they could speak with and understand humans), he had to tell them to go away and that he didn't love them anymore. The dolphins didn't want to leave their "Pa" - I believe that's what they called him - and they made those heart-wrenching sad dolphin cries. It was just too much and I cried my eyes out. Excellent job with the imagery, both of that scene and of the car crash! Great start to what promises to be a really good story. *****5 stars!
Is it just me or does the story line seem to sound-or read- just like that of the series Drop Dead Diva-only this is about a guy and not a woman who landed in a different body???
Moving to next to see if i'm correct....

A good beginning
A riveting start. Very emotional and engaging. A new take on the "Heaven can wait" theme...without Warren Beatty, thank goodness. ;p
