Huedogg, I always love your retribution angle. But, this story bothered me, for a number of reasons. I get the wife falling for another man part, etc. But, she couldn't KNOW that hubby was actually the father, at least not at that point. I would have liked to have seen more development there. Perhaps hubby had a vasectomy, so she assumed it was the other guy's. That sealed the deal for her to leave hubby and marry the new guy, etc. Turns out, after the little girl is sick, they get her tested and learn that the new guy isn't the father, and so the vascectomy failed and first hubby was actually the father-that would have made more sense. And, I get hubby being pissed about his kids, but no contact at all for 7 years? Seems unlikely.
So, he is surprised by a daughter he never knew he had. Here's the thing: taking a little girl from her mother and the only father she ever knew (and maybe grandparents?) out of spite is a horrible thing to do to a little girl, no matter how many toys you give her, and no matter how good a father you are. Here's the thing, too-even if wife signed the papers, she could have gotten an immediate injunction to prohibit bio-dad from taking the girl from the hospital-the coersion to sign the papers might render them ineffective, and anyway the best interests of the child are what determine custody-regardless of what contractual agreements the parents make. In other words, the papers the mom signed wouldn't mean shit in a court of law.
Anyway, I didn't like this revenge fantasy because an innnocent girl was hurt and used.

I can see real improvement in your writing and the story was nice. I also felt that there was some depth there as well which surprised me. The twist was cool.

I am tired of Anons (and a few IDed folks) 1-bombing authors (I gave HD a higher score than that) and claiming that those tales were miscategorized. Here we have a story in which there is ONLY sex-by-inference and which has no erotic claim AT ALL. It would fit nicely into a REVENGE category (but Lit does not provide such, for good reason!). It is a very elaborate and thoroughly-done revenge story...I applaud HD for that (and for the editing help - despite the isle of 'Berumda' AND which should have extended to his editor-kudos introductory statement)!
I did read this story in its entirety (not a complaint against HD, who also seems to read stories of which he is critical) before rating and writing these observations. I just do NOT believe it belongs in Literotica (anywhere!)

I Don't Get It, But I Liked It!

Other than revenge, why would he burden himself with a seven year old? On a boat no less? Seems like the inconvenience would considerably outweigh the paybacks. A great story none the less, mikothebaby did an excellent job of polishing your tome. Although they have that whole Latin lover thing going on, I don't understand how a Mexican could possibly stretch out Jason's wife, everybody knows their penises are smaller than white peoples, and way smaller than blacks. ROFLMAO!!!

Once again hue hits it out of the park. Only thing I might witch about was the shortness of the story other than that I loved it. Would have served the whore right if Wallace had sailed to international waters, used the ax to take her hand off the feed het to the ocean life. Can't damage a good boat now.

Aggressively wonderful

I liked it because he aggressively stood up for himself in the face of his family of assholes. It's a bit much that his wife and ALL his kids are this way but she raised them so maybe not. He didn't go commando on them, he just packed up and left. They sought him out only because they wanted something.

It personally drives me nuts when people screw someone over and when they later get in trouble, it is expected that the person that was screwed over must help them. If he doesn't, he's a bad guy. Consider if a complete stranger needed help. If you don't help are you a bad person? You don't even know them. There are all sorts of people in need and most people are NOT helping them out. They are not thought of badly because they don't help. In this case it isn't a neutral stranger, it's people that have deliberately hurt and disrespected him. How much more is he justified in having nothing to do with them?

I love how Wallace unflinchingly and without a shred of doubt confronts all of the idiots. His solution is elegant. As to depriving the girl of her mother, she was deprived of her father and his ex and children colluded to do it. As Wallace points out, the sacrifice of giving up the girl is one they all owe because of their lies and manipulations and is long overdue. Surrounding her with toys was stupid writing but it's obvious the girl was loved and well taken care of.

Though unlikely in some ways. It is way more unlikely for a woman to get a younger man to have sex let alone leave a marriage and it also is hard to believe that hubby wouldn't see what a bitch she was,how cruel,or that the kids were that fucked up.He also has to take some blame with the kids,it means either his own morals are suspect or he let wife raise them.Seeing the way he handles the situation with the little girl. I also agree the thing with the daughter is unrealistic, an agreement like that would not happen,any lawyer knows that an agreement done under duress is invalid,and custody would be decided with the best interests of the child.A court in theory could even order hubby to give the kidney to the girl as bio dad.Someone who could potentially let his bio child die has some screws loose.

The little girl would not have stopped crying for longer than that. She could have been crushed for good. In real life the revenge seeker could have ruined that life for his pettiness. Get guts. Let go and move on. Tired of the blamers wanting to make their life better by hurting one who is innocent. The wife was a horrible human being but how does it help to seek even further than she did.

The story was good

but it needed fleshing out a bit. Why did the 3 older children act like they did? Why was his Ex cheating on him? How did Karen act after they left US? There are to many unanswered questions to give it a 5, so I only rated it a 3 for being incomplete IMHO.

With a family like that who needs enemies. He did the right thing in cutting ties with his cheating ex and his ungrateful kids. As for the daughter, maybe that was a little far fetched, not that I didn't like the ending.

I agree with scarecrow51 in that you left it a bit vauge about why the kids felt not one bit of loyalty to their dad. However this story was much more detailed then the one you and I scrapped over. Your skills as a writer are also growing. The other story one of my biggest problems was how it read more like a newspaper account then a naration thats not the case here. A solid effort if a bit short.

There is no greater betrayal than that of one's children....

His first wife was a whore and a slut and should never be allowed to raise any child based on her first three sprogs. Taking Karen away from her immoral slut mother and her faithless siblings was the only thing her father could do. Great story and will looking forward to more in the future.

Where is the story?

The wife cheats on the clueless husband for three years and he has no idea there is anything wrong? The kids know about moms plans but don't say anything to dad and they are apparently not broken up about not seeing him for 7 years. And last but not least the heartless bastard takes a little girl away from the only parents she has ever known after going through a life altering experience and you want us to feel sorry for him and applaud his form of revenge? Are you serious?? Dude, get a life and move on.
My hats off to Mikothebaby for her efforts in attempting to polish another turd. Her efforts have made this story at least read like a story and not an outline as apposed to previous stories from this author.

But what I find funny is it's easier to believe that a regular guy would just stand there and get fucked over. Or that he would just let his wife fuck everybody and not get a divorce because he loves her that much. I just don't get it, it's easier to believe that a loving wife would fuck half of the county. Than believe a guy would have some balls. WOW. Thank for reading my story again.

It is good story but too short.

( Yet ) Another Kid Bashing Story !

Too bad because the author has excellent imagination with kidney transplant plot card. I enjoyed the ocean setting as opposed to story playing out in the usual generic burb' locale. Yet there are some redwood sized stumbling blocks that force me to award it two stars.

First in the story apparently as a result of a three year affair (out of a two decade marriage ), the narrator decides he's keeping the bulk of the marital assets & both the court & departing spouse accede to this desire.

Please. Does the narrator live in some sort of parralel universe because in the U.S. Of A. That simply dies not happen. I know this is fiction & leaps of faith are part of the readers' process but this is about as credible as flying monkeys & trickle down economics.

The 2nd reality Grand Canyon chasm is when the ex has his kid & decides not to file for child support. Sureeeeeeeee.

The last and most serious is the narrator claims to have given 'his all' to faimly yet for some unfathomed reason they're as cold as ice to him (. cue the Foreignor song mentally please) . I get that you can love a woman, do your best & yet it's not enough. But with KIDS, I hold fast to the motion that you reap what you sow.

Cutting off a little girl from her mother and siblings is cold f---g blooded. The narrator plays it off like this was his first act of this nature & hitherto now he'd led a selfless life. I find that impossible to believe.

Bottom line : this is loving wives and the revenge stories here are often cathartic oft having a BTB theme. I not only get that but providing the story is well written I enjoy it . I've given Huedawg five stars multiple times on past efforts. However when the Catagory mutates into BTK ( Burn The Kids) I cannot & will not ' go there' .

If children turn against a parent as blatantly as these three did , there is a reason ! The essentially faultless narrator parent schtick does not wash and ruins multiple other quality elements to this story. Matt Moreau has his good man who has small penis & forgiving faithless spouse fetish . Huedawgg is developing a punish cold hearted kids & spouse fetish theme that makes MM's pet plotlines look as a walk in park by way of contrast.

About as vile a story as I've ever read.

Im 44 and I have thought of doing the same thing many times. I never had the courage to start over like that. I spent 9 years fighting my ex wife in court over her finding "daddy's" for MY children. She is satan incarnate!!! But God blessed me with wonderful children who love me. I wish someone would write my TRUE story. It would beat anyones imagination...

Since there is no indication that he is a bad man, it has to be obvious that the woman is responsible for the kids attitude. A mother does not have to be blatant to accomplish this, a little slight twards the husband occasionally will do. Soon the kids will be on mommies side because daddy loves work more than his family or whatever other horseshit she has filled their minds with. LSD, she did not need child support because of the sugar daddy slash home wrecker. He did not have to help the little girl, he could have let her die. In the end the daughter turned out to be a better person than the rest of her siblings and mother. How is that burning the kids? He could have been watching trough an observation window and smiling as she took her last breath. He didn't kick them all to the curb, just the ones who deserved it. After seeing how the rest of her family turned out she is probably thankful and appreciative.

I don't understand the comments about Karen. She turned out great, the author said so, and it's his world. Psychology, the biggest fake "science" ever manufactured, can have a freaken ironclad research study that says Karen [i]should[/i] be traumatize by this event, but it doesn't mean shit. Karen is not research subject A, there isn't some universal law dictating behavior of any individual, no book is going to tell anyone what makes Karen tick. HD said she turned out fine, so what reason do we have to disbelieve him?

Because the story is so short, we don't really get the personality of any of the character. What we do know is that his family thought he worked too much, he admitted as such and the reason why he did it was to give them everything they wanted. That was his mistake, because they all turned out shitty without his influence, and had no love for him; evident by no remorse over not speaking to him for 7 years after betraying him. We also know that Karen is attracted to shiny toys, so she's halfway to being as messed up as the rest of them, so Wallace saved her really.

As to the legality of what he did, INAL but Wallace got one, and if he is high priced, I am sure there are ways to work the agreement. Officers of the court could have witnessed the agreement and sign off on Marion's state of mind at the time of the signing. Poor people and people pressured to give up their child to adoptions thousands of times a day, but they don't get to change their mind later just because they regretted doing it and were "under durress" at the time; either by lack of financial ability to raise a child, or because their parents didn't want to support a teenage mother or whatever. Wallace was not pointing a gun to anyone's head; he didn't seek them out, so what is this business of moving on. He did move on, they pulled him back in. The story is called "Second Chances" and he got one, to be the father he should have been to the 3 bastard kids.

He also could have requested the operation done in a foreign country, and just never return to the US. Even then, no one is going to give a shit to look for, or extradite, a "kidnapped" child when all the proper paperwork is there. And they lived on a boat sailing around the world..

This story is so rushed. So many serious decisions are made without really acknowledging the motivations of anybody. The characters came and went and formed unholy allegiances without any solid reasoning. Next time, take it slower and try to develop the players,

I find that I could not justify any type of rating for this story. While I agree that ex needs some sort of "punishment", this method seem to me to border on child abuse and was not the way I would have chosen. If I was rating the story only on the authors ability to write, then I would give a "5", but then I have to consider the whole story, plot and all, and I find that too disturbing. So I will comment only.
