You lose control, watch yourself betray another, always able to stop it, but you don't. A drug, it can be, that seldom brings peace. Yet, hard as this is to accept, it's easier to do the next time. Why? Why can't we turn off that switch? Why can't the pain it will cause others trump the lust?

A well-written story about a man who had it all and lost it because, ironically enough, he "just lost it". A part of me wants a follow-up, a sequel if you will. Showing Alex redeeming himself with Meghan after his fall from grace. The other part of me says the hell with him.

maybe if she'd taken care of business before he left it wouldn't have been so easy for Stacy to bag her man.
Far as I'm concerned, she should have dealt with the prob like really truly "loving wife" would have.
Send him off to work, freshly fucked and smiling.
You may disagree, but that's my take on it.
Personally, I think they can work it out, but the author may have other ideas.
a Part Two would be a good thing as far as I'm concerned.

Absolutely loved it.
Not only was this hot it was moral and that is something that is greatly lacking in a website of this... genre.
I love that there were consequences and that his wife didn't just run back happily because she's just a slut too. I really loved this. People should really think. It's always a choice. Well actually for the first time I've genuinely liked the end to one of the stories and not just the... body of it.
The wife is pregnant, stressed after dealing with two fighting kids, a mess in the kitchen, bed time, and she gets blamed because she didnt let her hubby grab a quick one. I see, total selfish bitch right? Because an orgasm (she likely wouldnt have gotten have been on the recieving end of) is more important than being a grown up.
People who believe that deserve to die alone & miserable. They have no clue what responsibility is and never will.
He has no good excuse. He should have put Stacey on her ass and stepped over her to be with his wife. This guy is a sorry excuse for a Marine. So much for semper fi!!!!!
Other than that the story, though it was sad, was very well written & gives you something to think about. Cautionary at best.

Would have worked better
If he wasn't a Marine. They have much more control. Pride and integrity are watch words that they live by. It made the story seem silly when you have a Marine cheat. Just didn't work.
