I was just going to skim the story to see if I even liked it, but I had to finish!

As I said in the comment on the other story, I don't normally do Sci-Fi & Fantasy Lit stories [disappointed too often when I tried them early on], but as with your other story, "Sweeter than a Summer's Dream", you sure packed a lot of story into one page, and hit every bell. Will there be a chapter 2 [or more] for this one?
