Slightly Disappointed

Had hoped Amberle would find a guy this time for a different story line and the relationship with Mykala would remain that special anomally.

wow,seriously,just wow

You are quite frankly a top notch writer. You make the emotion of the story come to life in a way that is incredibly rare on this site.

Beautiful

Wow... I had to have a stack of tissues with me to get through that one.

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 12 years ago
I'm glad..

that Amberle found someone else, and I'm very happy it was another woman. Thank you for sharing.

Continue weaving the Tapestry, please!

Was worth the wait! My family has had dreams over the years telling of things to happen and visits from loved ones who have "Gone West". My sister has scared the heck out of me a few times with her dreams to the point I've told her I don't want to know! So for McKayla to visit in dreams sits well with me.

Looking forward to the rest of the Tapestry being woven!

Thanks for your beautiful work!

WOW!

I do not know what you do for a living, but you are a fantastic writer. I thank you for sharing this story with us. The emotion that you bring forth from your charecters is wonderful, it is strong but not forced. Thank you for sharing all of these people with us again. Please continue to do so on a regular basis.

Just.. wow

Ive always been a big fan of stories that have a real character background, but also delve into the emotion of each of the characters and have a properly wrote story. I must say the first time i read Mckaylas Miracle, being a 21 year old male, i was near to tears. I've had people close to my heart die, so it might be that it struck a chord, but throughout the whole story i felt that i was experiencing it from Amberle's perspective.

I honestly think that you have progressed this story fantasticly, progressing onto the natural progression of life, acceptance and moving forward. Amberle definately deserves to be happy and i love how you have incorporated the realness of her guilt and hang ups on wether moving on is really her letting go of Mckayla.

Anyways, i just want to say that the quality of your stories every time astounds me, you are a exceptional story teller and i can only hope one day you are recognised for your talent and given a multi figure publication deal. Please keep on writing, i enjoy grasping on each word wondering what happens next.

Oh god

Alright, I can't read another story ever again. The last 3 series I've read have been tragic. While this one wasn't TRAGIC, it was still overwhelmingly heartbreaking. I actually have an emptiness in my chest because I miss McKayla, this fictional character, so much. Ahh, my heart is so broken.

Goes without saying that these stories touched me.

And I may have actually fallen in love with McKayla xD Woopsies

I am so glad u have decided to continue the mckayla series. I can't wait to read more about amberle and nichole. Mckayla will always be remembered by all your readers but I think most would agree that it was time for amberle to move on. Please continue to write and we will continue to read your wonderful stories!

Wow

I'm just blown away by this and the McKayla's Miracle series. I come back and read them time and time again. They actually give me something to strive for, a relationship and emotional connection as the one you showcase in your story.

Thank you! :D

I can't get enough

I loved reading McKayla's Miracle and I was so glad to see you did McKayla's Miracle revisited and tapestry. I've read all of McKayla's stories over and over again. I love that you gave so much depth to all the characters and how many emotions they all made me feel. It's very difficult to find stories that don't just lead up to sex. And personally, I love to learn about the characters and see relationships built up rather than going straight to bed. Thank you so much! I would have loved to read more but if not, it was PERFECT!

P.s. I really enjoyed reading about how geeky McKayla was. I'm a Star Wars and LOTR fan as well ;)

Please Write More

Please write more with these characters. It seems that there is a lot more to tell with Maureen, Amberle, and Nichole. Please continue with these characters.

So Good.

I'll echo your earlier reviewer: encore, please?

Great story telling, as usual your characters and attention to the little details of their lives make this story shine.

Please continue.

The whole Amberle and MCKayla line is just to good to be abandoned. Please give them some more words.

You've done it again

I'm the 'old soldier' who left a comment after Chapter 3. You've done it again. I've been weepy through most of Revisited and Tapestry. It hasn't entirely been your writing that's caused it. Six months ago my wife died in my arms after a long illness (severe emphysema, not cancer, in her case). I'm very much the optimist, and with the help of the children and grandchildren I've been generally okay since the first month or so. But your excellent story-telling brought back all the rawness and with it the tears. I'm a bit long in the tooth now to expect to find anyone else, but I did get one good message from your stories: it does get better. Thanks for that, HLD.

Kleenex please...

For the tears and laughter this series of stories evoke. This is the type of love I think everybody looks for, hopes for, and yes, even die for regardless of gender or sexuality.

a beautiful story McKayla wants Amberle to be happy but she will be waiting for her.

DIFFERENT PARTS

THERE WERE SOME PARTS THAT I WAS NOT SURE ABOUT BUT THE ONE PART WAS THAt Mckayla and Amberle will always love each other and McKayla will be waiting for Amberle to join her in Heaven.

thank you so much

Oh my God I am crying. Your writing has done so much to heal the shattered heart of this mid-50s, straight, husband and father. Tell me more! Please keep writing!

AnonymousAnonymousabout 9 years ago
Damn

You have this man crying again. Every time I read about Mckayla in this or Mckaylas Miracles I cry like a little girl. The stories just come to life and pull you in. I hated that she died because there could have been a lot more stories that you could have written about that HAWT woman and Amberle and her friends. I have read these stories and your others many times and the are in my favorites

Excellent

Once again you weave a tale that brings so much heartfelt emotion.

This is a really enjoyable beginning as much as a gentle ending.

Heart wrenching

It is a beautiful story filled with love. The end where they both have the same dream and what McKayla tells Amberle that she and Michael will be waiting for her and Nicole on the other side and McKayla calling her by there private name and telling Amberle how much she loved her was gut wrenching and that brought tears to my eyes as did the anniversary dinner. In my favorites numerous reads.

I Absolutely Loved This Story!!

I will not say very much here, as I have just completed McKayla's Miracle and now on to reading Tapestry Ch. 01. The developing love between Amberie / Nicole is beautifully written and absolutely enthralling!!!! I am so happy that I can immediately commence reading Chs. 02-04 without delay.
