When I first started submitting stories here, Francis Macomber was one of a handful of writers I used as a gauge for my own work. I'll never achieve this man's writing skills but he has certainly made me a better writer. Thank you, Francis.
You speak for me as well. FrancisMacomber was as good as it gets, and I want to write like him when I grow up.
