Confused

Wasnt Colonel Lata Saraswati a woman and on the planet ?

Lata on Okton4

Yes she was, but if you check the story you will find that women and non-humans on Federation vessels are allowed on the planet, on condition they do not leave the ship while on Okton4.. :-)
