It reads to me like the only reason Arden goes blood-crazy is to move the plot along. Maybe if we saw the build up from his point of view, his attact would be more understandable.

i wish this was longer. i like the build up but the sex scenes could be more intimate and erotic than it currently is.

Just a point, how would the neighbours know Everett was dead and that there was a vampire in the house? They did this inside the house not outside so how would anyone know? And Arden's blood lust really didn't make much sense.
