Interesting start!
This was a good set up to the story. I did think Lucy's comprehensive description of Eden's seduction of Professor Davis was a little unrealistic though, and that whole scene seemed a little "bare" - a lot of characters are suddenly introduced all at once, and it can be a little disconcerting. Other than that, I think this flowed pretty well.
You've got a good, believablely manipulative character in Eden, and I'm looking forward to seeing how things progress! It does seem like her plan is doomed to failure (as are most plans described as "perfect"), but I wonder if she'll manage to work her way out of it :)
