I have read the first two chapters of GA's serial "Consequences". Chapter One was interesting but foreboding. I am not a big fan of the Incest Genre but some authors manage to put out stories on the subject I have found amusing or clever. GA's other stories that I have read and enjoyed, encouraged me to get this far into this specific story.
I have read the Second Chapter, stopped to consider it's implications and came to the decision that I am not going to continue reading the remaining chapters of this series. My opinion is that I would not enjoy the rest of this fictional tale. If this was another site but Literotica, the fictional girl's fictional 'age" would be several years younger.
I have done voluntary work with adult and child victims of similar abuse described in this chapter and I find, as written by the author, I am unable to suspend disbelief enough to enjoy this story. I not only find myself concerned about the character Jenny but also about Uncle Max's young daughter.
This is not a criticism of the author for writing this story, I myself have experienced where stories I am working on get completely out of my control, in strange directions. My stories generate strong opinions, pro and con, especially when I permit, hell, encourage my personal political agenda to intrude. Fine, differences of opinion is what makes betting a horse race interesting.
This is not a criticism of readers who chose to continue reading and do get personal enjoyment out of this story.
This is an explanation of why I, personally chose not to continue reading. For those commentators who feel that somehow I am belittling them for their choice. No, I am not. I simply am not issuing an affirmation of your choice. If you are too sensitive at confronting a mild disagreement of opinions, well, I feel sorry for you.
